I am a registered Mental Health Nurse with more than 10 years experience of working with people suffering from mental illness. This experience has been gained in a number of areas within the NHS including;
- Low secure inpatient wards
- Acute adult inpatient wards
- Community Mental Health nursing
- Criminal Justice Liaison nursing
I have since specialised in CBT and am a qualified Cognitive Behaviour Therapist and an accredited member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.
I have Lectured at Anglia Ruskin University on the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Low Intensity Therapist program, and deliver training for the NHS.
I currently work both within the NHS and Private sector as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. I receive ongoing supervision in both areas.
